    Hi,

I have a Sager 5793 and lately I've noticed that the screen is too bright in some games that require it to be darker (e.g.: Dead Space, Silent hill Homecoming).
Fn+F8 doesn't seem to help as it appears to regulate backlight rather than brightness. I've tried nvidia control panel (adjust desktop colour settings -- it seems to affect games as well). And now i'm using it at:
    Brightness: 22
    DV: 0
    Contrast: 27
    Gamma: 31

But it still too bright for the game (they show a picture in a dark background and it should be barely noticeable).

Does anyone have some experience with that? Do you guys just leave the default settings in NVCP (50/0/50/50)?
Are there drivers for the laprop display? Or monitor calibration profiles?

    thanks.

thats weird, my screen is overly bright in the bottom-half, and too dark in the top half. I adjusted the nvidia settings, it helps a bit, but it sucks in games liek doom3 or stalker.
