So after uninstalling the annoying CCC 2.0 because of its GPU throttling (well I fixed that, it's just that it starts on startup every time and gets annoying), my brightness stopped working, however I tried changing it.

When I installed CCC again, brightness changing worked again. Why is this happening?

Is there a way to have CCC uninstalled while being able to change brightness?

    I have a Prostar (Clevo) N850EP6

Are you using the windows brightness meter in the power settings?

Yes, as well as in Windows settings, and using the hotkeys (fn+f8/f9)

Hi, I have the P950EP6 version and I have the same brightness problem. The standard fans settings are very agressive so I was using RLECViewer, but if I install the control center now it messes with the fan speeds. This causes the fans to go on and off randomly. Is there a way to fix brightness without the control center?

    P.S.
A clean install of windows 10 didn't work. The brightness was not working from the first time windows 10 booted.
