Only 10k? You must have a slow system.

    My baby gets a whopping 4041 in 3dmark06 :)

Only the beginning till it blows up right. No, only kidding. I wish I could get that but I'm a bit of a noob when it comes to overclocking xD

DRTH STI to confirm you used my drivers (178.13) to reach 10K.
Thats impressive on Vista 64 bit. Im surprised because people usaully post lower 3d marks scores and better real gaming perf with my drivers.

If you Like i can mod a special driver for you for pure performance at cost of all snazzy image quality to reach your goals :p

I for one would LOVE to have that!

If you have the time to do such a driver (Vista 64 to the 178.13 or the 177.92) please let me know. :)

I'm thinking maybe next release I release two inf file.
One "standard" one and one special 3d mark/ pure performance (which will make things look ugly).

btw deodot check out my newly released 178.13 stickied at top of thread :)

Sure you do bro. it's just a .2ghz system overclock. Can't wait until i really max out the OC on this system and test the limits.

Our systems are very capable of 10k+.

Drth, just so you know, a .2MHz overclock would do absolutely nothing, yours was a .2GHz OC (or 200MHz)

Those temps are WITHOUT any notebook cooler. I'm investing in a CRYO notebook cooler soon.

On top of that - i'm waiting on a friend for hard drive/gpu/cpu thermal heatsink/casing modifications. Won't have them installed (modifications) for another couple months or so but this will be an ongoing project. 11k Barrier THEN 12k Barrier.

If you get to the 12k barrier with that lappy, I have a 100GB IDE hard drive waiting for you. :)

You might not need one, but it's a nice gift nevertheless. ;)

Cool scores bro. Got the same thing a while back when I overclocked. SetFSB apparantly overclocks everything, so I'm guessing the 1333 memory is going to come in handy now. :)

thanks buddy - knew that didn't sound right!

Yeah man - thanks for that code. Overall the system feels a little bit faster - maybe it's in my head but it does seem like apps are loading a bit faster.

Just OC the 9800 and you'll likely bust 11k.

I'm looking for 12k once I add the X9100 and GPU overclock.
