As the title says me keyboard stopped working. Not that big of a deal. I just got a usb one. But I need to be able to use my Fn (Function) key. Is there any way to re-assign this key or to use an on-screen keyboard.

As far as I know neither are possible but I thought I would ask.

Welcome to the NBR forums. :)

you can replace your notebook keyboard... they go around $30-50 usually.

as for using FN keys on an external keyboard.... not really going to work since the notebook keyboard has specific firmware to give it the Fn features.
