We've had this low spec 13.3" M735T notebook around the house for a little over a year now, and just today the screen has packed in. It gets used a fair bit, but only around the house, it doesn't travel ever so gets treated very well. The graphics card is fine as when connected to an external monitor it's all ok. Just when using the notebook screen.

Anyone now if its an easy fix or replacement?
There is a small amount of 'leakage' in the bottom right corner too, wasn't there before.

    Thanks for the help :)

Looks like the screen may have cracked which means you will have to replace it if you want to use it portably.

Of course you can still try open it up and fiddle with the cables to check if something is loose.

Sorry, should've said, definitely no damage, was sat on th desk, working 1 minute broken the next :(

ill have a look at the cables, but from previous notebook experience, don't want to keep opening it up to check as this just wares out the small plastic parts around the hinges, If I gotta open it up I'd maybe like to know the fix or be changing the screen out?

Since there is leakage, that is what would make me think that the screen has cracked.

Looks like a cracked screen, as there is liquid pooling in corner.

Even if it was sat on a desk, could you have opened/closed the lid a little? It definitely looks like a cracked screen...

Grab a new screen, they're pretty easy to fit.

Service manual added to my sig

Thank you all for the posts, especially the service manual. I'll try and get hold of a screen to swap out. I live in Korea and can't see any vendors with them online, but there will be somewhere!

    Cheers :)

Should say too, I wasn't using it at the time, I think the damage came from one to many screen adjustments, so yes probably was pushed and cracked. **** design really, well it lasted 14ish months, thats not bad but far from great!

So I didn't fix this yet, the notebooks been taking up the 32" tv for the last 2 weeks now :) BUT...

I've found that CHIMEI make a cheaper replacement than the AUO that broke, but there are two models I can buy, they are the 'N133I6-L01' which is the same info as in the PDF manual theriko posted but I can buy the REV2 and REV3 versions.

Not sure if there are any differences or they are just named differently. Both appear to be identical spec wise, res, connector, LED etc etc.

    Any ideas?

Probably just a manufacturing revision, I would just grab one and go with it =)
