    Hi all,

    I decided to bite the bullet and go for D900c in SLI.

    * Core Duo E6700
    * Dual HDD SATA 250 GB
    * WUXGA (1900x1200)
    * Dual Go 7950GTX in SLI
    * 3 GB (800 Mhz)

    I'll buy it with no OS installed and install it myself.

    Here are some questions specific to installing the OS with this configuration:

    Windows XP:

    * How do enable RAID 0 and install the OS with the proper drivers (link if possible)?
    * Which video driver should I install (link if possible)?

    Windows Vista:

    * How do enable RAID 0 and install the OS with the proper drivers (link if possible)?
    * Which video driver should I install (link if possible)?
    * Vista drivers list if possible (links?)

    Another question:

    Can I have two versions of OS, Windows XP and Windows Vista and still have a RAID 0 configuration on both?

    Thanks in advance for any help.

    Trance
    PS: Once I get it I'll post some benchmarks.

    - In the BIOS, you must enable SATA RAID.
    - then going into RAID BIOS Utility (during the POST) and Create a RAID-0 [striped] array
    - You must have a USB Floppy drive. Then get the RAID drivers (from CD or website and copy them onto a Floppy). Connected USB Floppy drive to the system.
    - Boot up Windows XP CD and press F6 immediately when you see it ask to "install SCSI or Third Party Drive".
    - Choose the RAID Drivers for 2000/XP.
    - the rest is normal after this.

    RAID is done in BIOS (explained above)
    - Boot the Vista CD (same thing as above)
    - no need for floppy, you can use the CD for the RAID drivers

    Thank so much Gophn for your patience while helping us all a lot. I'll seldomely follow your advice when using this beast.

    Why I bought it after all I've said regarding these beasts? Well, I just got an offer that I couldn't refuse :) (it was just and reasonable for me and persistance also helps).

    Thanks again to you all,

    Trance
