    Hi,

So I've finally decided on a laptop and it will be the M570TU. My config is standard plus an upgraded P9500, 4 gb ram, 320 gb 5400 rpm hdd and windows vista for $2297.93 USD on xoticpc and powernotebooks, but $2338.05 CAD on PROSTAR (I'm from Canada). I will be using the laptop for moderate gaming and 1080p movies, so I think it should be more than enough for my needs (unless someone suggest I upgrade something to increase the longevity of my system? I think the 5400 rpm drive will be better for my needs since it's cheaper, will use less energy, be quieter and not heat as much). One last thing I'm considering is the creative soundcard, but that's only available off xoticpc and I can always buy it later and I don't think it will make /that/ much difference with the built in speakers.

My question is this: will there be a difference since the PROSTAR computer is not a Sager (ie. problems with drivers, quality, lots of dead pixels, etc.)? Also, do either powernotebooks or prostar expect users to upgrade the graphics cards themselves, like xoticpc? I don't want to go through the hassle of this, so if powernotebooks puts in the gpu themselves then it's the clear winner against xoticpc for me. And one last thing; does anyone know what kinds of taxes I would be expected to pay when ordering from the USA?

Thanks in advance for your help =D

And I just found out powernotebooks doesn't ship to Canada >_> Looks like I'll go with xoticpc or PROSTAR. Can anyone vouch for PROSTAR as a good company? I've seen enough about xoticpc to know that it's top notch.

I cant vouch for prostar but Sager has been first class all the way. My suggestion is to speak with a salesperson and you should be comfortable with doing business with them. If you do not feel %100 about the honesty and integrity with whom you are dealing with then take a step back- I recently purchased the same rig and I went for the higher end in hardware to give the laptop some longevity. I also need the extra hardware for business purposes as well but it is alot of money to spend on a laptop.
