Since it's too late to ask powernotebook this question, I was wondering if anyone here who purchased a Sager from powernotebooks.com knows how the repairs for the warranty works.
For example, let's say that my Sager laptop has 50 dead pixels or the keypad doesn't work, does anyone know how powernotebooks.com would handle this exactly?
Thanks in advance.

Too late? Never!
PowerNotebooks.com offers 24/7 tech support. Call our support team and we will arrange an RMA number with shipping instructions to send your laptop back to Sager so they can give you a new screen and fix your touchpad.
Please take a minute and read the Sager Warranty
Also, take a minute and read our ResellerRatings.com customer service record

Live...as in have a life?
What a concept! -
How does the shipping work if I have to send in my Sager? Do I have to pack and ship it myself or does Sager send packaging and boxes for me to use or something around those lines?

So, you didn't read the warranty yet?
PLEASE take a minute and read it so you know exactly how it works. The link to it is right there in my previous post. -
crazy guy, he answers every question

Just FYI, my buying experience so far with powernotebooks.com has been outstanding. Spoke with both Ron and Jane re- issues with payment, and it was resolved quickly.

How are repairs (particularly after warranty expires) handled? Directly through Sager or with powernotebooks as a mediary?
Also, are upgrades generally offered for notebooks already out there (i.e., processor, or mobo, or GPU)? And are those handles directly through Sager as well? -

Reading the Sager warranty should answer your questions:

Ok, thanks Chaz! I've already read that though. I was wondering specifically how buying through a reseller changed that process. Does it mainly pertain to the tech and customer support side of it? I do know all repairs ultimately are made by Sager, so perhaps I just answered my own question.

Once you are a PowerNotebooks.com customer we provide Lifetime 24/7 telephone support. If you need repairs either in or out of warranty it is always best to go through us. Sager will handle the repair itself, but the communication and coordination is best handled through us.
Upgrade programs are usually offered for the high end Sager models. -
Thanks Paladin!
I love the "Lifetime" aspect of your answer...
And it's very encouraging to hear about the upgrade programs being available...(does NP5760 qualify as "high end"?). -

Yes, the NP5760 is definitely high end

I know how it can be with making such a expensive item over the intenet, without even touching or seeing the actual item.
I was exactly the same way, but after extensive laptop / reseller research, I ordered my first laptop ever from powernotebooks.com and I cound not be more happier with the service. I delt directly with Donald, but Jane handled my billing and shipping process. I spoke with Donald numerous times and always got the answer I wanted and always felt like they will always stay behind you if you have any issues with your laptop.
This is my personal experience with them
Like Donandl said: Call him and speak with him directly and you will see what me, and other members of this forum community, are talking about
As, far as warranty, Yeah I think you should READ THE WARRANTY!
Just kiddingI know you read it already
Let us know how it turned out for you with your purchase -
Apologies chrisyano
