I'm thinking of buying a blu-ray drive from ebay and some of the drives I see doesn't come with the "Bessel" of the drive which is the front black plastic of the original drive.

My question is, is that easily removable and attacheable to the new drive? The reason I see behind that is because every laptop has its own Bessel shape.

I would not recommend buying from ebay, the companies that offer custom computers, can give you way better customer support. My favorite is rjtech, they have online chat (i think this is only for laptop buyers dough), email, and phone, all great options.

You can check xoticpc and pctorque (sager laptops only).

From what I know, since the M860TU uses standard SATA CD/DVD drives, its bezel should be fully swappable to other drives of the same kind.

Well, the one from ebay doesn't have a Bezel, so can I swap the one I have with the one I'm buying?

And, why not buy from eBay?

The drivers sold by these resellers are just selling COMBO drives, which just "reads" blu-ray discs and not "writes" them. I need a burner.

I see nothing wrong with purchasing from Ebay.

Well, if you trust the seller. They wont give you technical support (unless you purchase or sometime even so)
