First thought was, get an SSD in there. mSata at the very least.
If your spending all that money, at least get a nice quick OS/Apps drive.
Not sure on the 8970m/xfire. 780m/sli looks like a real winner, if you can afford it. -
Ya that's the problem I'm on a budget I don't have a job because I'm still 15 but I've been saving up for a long time I will get a ssd if it is really necessary I want to run a games like crisis 3 at max settings because my dad's girlfriends stupid spoiled assistance friend says it wont

I will agree about getting a SSD or mSATA as the primary drive. The 1TB drive is going to make the computer seem much slower then it can be cause of its slow read/write time. Getting a SSD like the Intel 520 series are over 800% faster in read/write times.
The 2x8970M will handle Crysis 3 no problem. -
If no SSD, at LEAST a 7200 RPM mechanical drive. The 5400 RPM will just make you cry.
Also the 8970M crossfire would play anything at pretty much max settings.
I don't understand why 12GB of RAM though. If you could I'd suggest the 4800MQ and 16GB as well as the hard drive changes, but that's totally up to you. 12GB and 20GB and 24GB of RAM sizes just irk me though XD.
Aside from this, what's your pricetag limit? And since you're going with Xotic PC, did you try making it from the Special version? You get more goodies there for less; could help a lot with the money limit XD
EDIT: never mind I'm dumb and the special edition doesn't offer AMD. -
Ya thanks everyone for the opinions about it I I will post my final outcome in a few minutes I just have to think about it a little
-
The 8970M in CF is going to be crap until the end of July when the new frame pacing driver is scheduled to be released.
The stuttering is honestly pretty bad from what I've experience with dual 7970s. -
SSDs are fairly cheap these days anyway. I'd drop the RAM to 8GB and get a cheap SSD or mSata to install Windows on.
You wont regret it. -
Here is my final outcome i will upgrade ram and get a seperate ssd later

Andi meant to say my dads girlfriends stupid son

Got yourself a great base there.
8gb ram should see you fine. Anymore than that is wasted really.
Good build. Now playing the waiting game. Let us know when you get it. -

The Hybrid drives are nicer then a regular hard drive but just be aware you wont get the advantage of them if you add a SSD later. It only helps when its the boot drive. If you do plan on getting a SSD soon then just go with a regular 7200RPM hard drive.

Yes, worth saving the difference and putting it towards that SSD later.
