I'm regarding a new clevo quad extreme with this specs:
    CPU: QX9300.
    GPU: 9800GTX.
    RAM:4GB DDRIII.
    SCREEN: 17'' WUXGA.
    DISC DRIVE: BLU-RAY.
    HDD: 320GB 7200 RPM.

How does this baby goes on games? Can anyone say to me what's is its score in windows experience index. Does it has some problems that I should concern about?

    Thanks!

WEI is worthless, you can even edit the .txt file to whatever you want... at any rate, that rig will easily get 11,000 points in 3dmark06, probably much more.

on a side note, CES (Consumer Electronics Show) is running right now, and Clevo will/has announce(d) a host of new high-performance models. if i were you, i'd hold off my purchase until these new models are available.

For what it's worth, I just placed the same exact order four days ago, minus the blu-ray drive. When I receive it, I'll be happy to post whatever results I get.

I know I was looking at a Clevo early last year and was overwhelmed with all the options available. Then I told myself to wait for the new models, then wait for the new models to start coming down in price, and then a new generation pops up ...

... it's always something. Will the new models about to be announced going to be revolutionary? Isn't it always, according to the manufacturer?

All I know is that I frequently get caught in the trap of seeing what's around the next corner, of waiting, and the result is sitting with a 5 year old laptop that has GeForce 4200 video card, IIRC.

From what I've heard, tgmarques, is that everyone who has the 5796 (non-quad) or the 5797 have been extremely satisified.

Again - will post results when I get the machine and am up and running.
