Where is the best place for me to replace my Sager NP9150's battery?
I assume directly from Sager. They have the model for $110 with free ground shipping.
I'm about to sell my older NP9150 but it has 75% battery wear typically lasting only an hour now and I figure that much wear might make it difficult to sell.

You could try reconditioning battery with those programs but better choice is buy a new one if you are portable most of the times. Also try not to run it down to 0% often as this fries the battery aka battery wear.

I wouldn't worry about the high wear amount if you're about to sell it, just be sure to mention it to the buyer or on the listing. Most people who get the NP9150 or similar aren't too worried about battery life.

It definitely is a good idea to replace the battery before selling unless you happen to come across a seller that intends to make it a desktop replacement and will not be mobile with it. The OEM (Sager) will be your best resource; I don't know of any reliable aftermarket batteries for Clevos.

Ok, I ended up just swapping batteries for now amongst my two 9150s. I'm going to try and sell locally through my university's for sale fb page (I often sell through it since there are 7000 people in the group) and I may not be hitting the same target audience as you usually would for Clevo laptops. Anyway I'll be putting the 75% wear battery in my machine and 25% wear in the one to be sold. This way that doesn't become an issue for now. I certainly need to buy one eventually but I mostly use a tablet on the go now.

I really don't think you should shell out the $110 for a new battery unless you absolutely had to. I realize your target audience might care more about battery life than the average gamer, but you never know. Better to pay later when you have to, instead of sinking in the money that could very well become sunk cost.

I doubt a new battery would add 110 dollars to the sale price, it's as simple as that.

I know a new battery won't add anything to the price. But I fear a 1 hour life only battery will severely hurt the sale potential at any price I hope to get.

Well I never cared about battery life, even when I was in university, so that 1 hour battery wouldn't have bothered me one bit. (no I don't need a third laptop
