Now, I have my mind already made up which model/components I want. The problem now lies in should I buy the product from the manufacturer (in this case sager) or from powernotebooks.com.

Could someone please tell me which company would be better to buy from, and a few reasons why to go with that direction.

For example I noticed that sager does not change you to install the OS. And has cheaper shipping.

Any, and all help will be greatly appreciated.

Oh, and for those wondering the model would be the Sager NP5791.

Powernotebooks and XoticPC are probably the most recommended Sager resellers.... due to their legendary service/support.

You should not have an issue going with either.

Thanks everyone for the replies. After purchasing, how long does it take them to process my order? Can I expect it in three days if I get three day shipping? Or would it take a week and three days ect?

you should directly call or email your chosen vendor to ask the specifics of the building and shipping times.

They would know best... as well as can speed things up if you are pressed for time.... school, military, moving, etc....

I will say this XOTIC PC has really awesome service both before and after the purchase. If you are dealing with and have a question just ask and they will give you an answer.

I'm a PowerNotebooks customer and they provided excellent service too. I have had nothing but a great experience with them. As Gophn noted, XoticPC and PowerNotebooks are great, but don't forget about other resellers listed in the Clevo Guide.

I haven't dealt with PowerNotebooks but from what I have seen they have a good reputation. My experience was with XOTICPC and they provided me with outstanding service. Check the guide and do some homework to see if which one will match your needs.
