Hi,
I come here in of need help putting together my first gaming laptop, Im thinking to go with Mythological because of its good reputation that I keep hearing about. I don't know much about hardware so I am here looking for help putting it together for me, Im not sure what to pick based on what I need.
The games I want to be able to play on max settings are Dota 2, FFXIV a realm reborn, Civ5, Diablo 3, Path of Exile
Im interested in a 17" model and my budget is as low as possible to be able to play those games smooth as possible on max settings. Also I will be hooking it up to a Dell ultrasharp2412
let me know if you need any other info, and thank for your help.

If you want some first hand experiences with resellers there is always good old google, but also there is a reseller feedback forum at the top of the sager and clevo forum which you can check out

The catch here is that while the base prices for Mythlogic's system are higher, the upgrades cost less. When I was researching what and who to buy from, I calculated the "break-even point" to be somewhere in the ballpark of $2500. So if you're looking to buy a specc'd out high end gaming laptop, then Myth would be serious contender. Otherwise if you're gaming on a budget, might want to check out other resellers. That being said, some people may find the few hundred dollars completely worth their while if it means they don't ever have to deal with Sager.
I'm not too familiar with the games you listed but I believe a GTX 765M should be more than enough to run those games at high settings. And if I'm not mistaken, most RTS games tend to be more CPU than GPU bound, so might be worthwhile getting a better CPU instead of a graphics card.
Edit: According to this AnandTech benchmark, a desktop Radeon 7770 will run Civ5 at about 38 FPS on max quality with 4x AA. The 765M is pretty similar in performance to the 7770, so as long as you don't go nuts with AA you should be able to run it smoothly. -
Mythlogic is very good about pre-sales conversation. Go to their web site, put together a configuration (even if you aren't sure about some of the items) and "submit for review". On the "submit for review" page you can write a message to the Mythlogic Tech Reviewer. In this message you can ask any questions you might have and request any analysis you might like, for example, "Im interested in a 17" model and my budget is as low as possible to be able to play those games smooth as possible on max settings. Also I will be hooking it up to a Dell ultrasharp2412". You will get an email response and can start a back-and-forth dialog until you are satisfied. (That's the route I took on the Pollux 1613 they are building for me right now.)
