I've heard all the good reviews about XoticPC but I'm thinking of buying a W870CU (NP8760) from ProStar because it has cheaper/faster shipping to Canada and it also offers 1 day build time.

Has anyone had any experience from ProStar? I tried Googling for reviews but there are not too many of them and the Clevo reseller guide isn't too helpful either.

Also I was wondering if 1 day build time for a Clevo laptop is bad since XoticPC seems to require about 3-7 business days for building/testing laptops.

I've bought machines from Pro-Star. They're a top notch company, especially the customer support.

And no, the expedited build time is not a bad thing.

I just ordered a W870CU from ProStar. The sales rep was very friendly and helpful. I originally opted for the 1 Business Day build time (additional $59) but when I asked the sales rep whether this was a good idea, he was very honest and informed me that the 1 Business Day build time was actually not recommended. Instead, he suggested me to go for the 3 Business Day build time since 1 Business Day is not enough for testing the machine.

I will probably receive the notebook sometime next week. Will keep you guys posted on how it turns out.
