    C300 SSD in caddy won't show up in BIOS of W860CU!!

    i can verify that i put in back the Blu-ray drive and that works fine....

    so what the heck, how do i get bios to recoginze the SSD? it's in ACHI mode, and no other, i can't pick IDE or anything.

    Try using another HDD/SDD to see if it's a problem with the caddy. Or try using the C300 internally, to see if something is wrong with the C300 itself.

    ok, it's the caddy if the SSD works on my desktop when i get back.

    At this point, it's SSD or Caddy, and do i have to install any firmware, driver, marvell, ???

    Maybe it's the busted caddy, im getting an enclosure, is a USB-powered ESATA enough and will be fast as internal Sata II?
