Does anyone know or have any opinions on when Clevo/Sager announces their new line of laptops? I'm guessing it's Computex Taipei since they're on the exhibitor list or do they release this info on some other time?

And last, will CES lower the prices on parts? (cpu and gpu's)

Computex most likely, 5870MR was released then, and Clevo is a Taiwan company as well.

However, the majority of the shareholders for Clevo are Chinese.

With things coming out of CES, companies only lower prices to get rid of the old inventory to make room for the new products that come in. Not all products have a lowered price after CES but usually some time right after.

I cant wait for CES, I am going again this year, I will be working it again, plus its in my home town, Las Vegas.

Yeah, i'm basically hoping that after CES, we'll see some drop of prices with the current components. The $500+ jump from the i7-840QM to the i7-940XM is a little much for me at the moment.
I hope the price drops on those or even having a newer, comparable and yet more affordable option comes out from CES.

My brain skittered over to 1/7/2011 CES and left the rest of my body making dumbarse posts on here. Sorry!
