    Just a couple of questions

    1. Whats the Avg % gain in total for 5870m cfx vs gtx 480m x8100 costsusd 2141 vs x7200 usd 3250 only difference is desktop cpu in x7200 which helps reduce bottleneck i think??

    2.whats the highest ocable clockspeed in 5870m and gt 480m?

    3. does the sli gtx 480m equal as a single desktop gtx 480 or gtx 470 at least?

    4. As gtx 480m is based on the downclockd version for desktop gtx 465 anybody have any comparison benchmarks for sli gtx 480m oced to 550/1100 vs sli desktop gtx 465 downclocked to 550/1100 keeping other system component the same? will there be any noticable difference? if so by ho much?

    i did chk there is no way to compare with cfx 5870m or sli gtx 465 but i think gtx 470= sli gtx 480m

    The 480m has similar charactoristics to the GTX465, but it's very severely underclocked to fit in a 100W TDP limit.

    The 480Ms may be near the GTX 470, but even then, that isn't worth such a huge premium.

    The GTX 480M is a total waste, in terms of price and power consumption.

    how much oc can be done in 480m? lets 550/1100 and if a desktop 465 downclocks to 550/1100 will they give similar perf?

    or is the 480m's physical structure is laser cut like rops, tmu, transistors, pixel fill rate, texture fill rate, and compute perf in gflops than gtx 465

    It was 2 x 480m =1 x 470 GTX so yes, it is a total waste (if the relation is correct).
