Hi guys,
Before I wrote this post, I looked after a thread that could solve my doubt, but I can't find it. So, sorry if was a thread with a similar question!
Well, I have a CLEVO P151EMx and I would like to upgrade with 16GB of RAM. So, I recurring to the manual and I saw there that this kind of motherboard doesn't support 8GB of RAM in a single slot, the max is 4GB. But, reading some topics here, I saw people who bought 2x8GB of RAM for the same motherboard, but I didn't see if it work.
So my doubt is: is the CLEVO P151EMx able to support 2x8GB DDR3/L PS3-12800? And, is the motherboard able to support DDR3L type memory?
My processor is an Ivy Bridge, Core i7 3630QM, and it support DDR3/L, but I don't know if the motherboard does.
Thank you for your help!
Best regards!

The EM with Ivy Bridge was not designed with low voltage memory in mind. I recommend sticking with the 1.5 volt modules instead.
The board does support 8 GB modules, however. Many EM models max out at 32 GB (8 x 4). -
EDIT: And is that ok if I use hybrid voltage memory RAM DDR3/L? Like Vengeance http://www.corsair.com/pt-br/vengea...-laptop-memory-upgrade-kit-cmsx16gx3m2b1600c9Last edited: Oct 5, 2016
