    Hi dear friends, Hare Krishna,

    i'm Marco from Italy

    I have a fantastic Santech G49-g that is a CLEVO P774DM3 -g with 64GB of ram (16x4) , 1TB SSD and NVIDIA GTX1080 as GPU:

I now that some site with lab in Germany says that they are able to do a complete GPU HEATSINK MODDED BIOS upgrade.

They ask to you to send your clevo to them, they promise to do the upgrade GPU (WITH PROPER HEATSINK) and MODDED BIOS by them, and they promise to send it back.

But unfortunally i don't know nobody that as done this task.

Shipping cost with warranty from Italy to Germany it cost 100 euro per travel. So send it to Germany and re-send it back it will cost 200 euro: not so cheap!

I'de like to know people that has done it and ask his suggestions.

    QUESTIONS:
    1) First: are we sure that is true?
    2) have we to trust of that guys that want that you send your laptop workstation to them?
    3) If someone has done it: does it work good? heating situations?
    4) is it worth it? total cost is really less than to buy a newlaptop workstation maybe native di rtx gpu or similar?

Let me know your kind opinion, thanks a lot :) please

Or.. what I did was buy a P775TM motherboard and put it in your DM3 housing it's a straight swap and then sell the DM3 motherboard and get some cash back

Heatsink is good with transplant as it is with original ( I do have a original p775tm to compare with )

Please check my post here. I have made this mod for my 751dm2, but the 775dm3 is exactly the same in 17,3 version. You need to have the same parts as TM1 version has, and you are good to go. The worst thing what can happen, that you might need an SPI programmer to flash the bios as sometimes the laptop boots with black screen after usb bios flash. For me it happened 1 time out of 3-4.
