I just stumbled upon CNET's review of the big Sager 5950 SLI gaming rig. The specific model reviewed is Euorcom's D590K Emperor. What's especially interesting is the video portion of the review. It provides a "real-time" perspective of the 5950, including some comments by the reviewer. It's definitely worth checking out if you're considering dropping $4000+ on one of these monsters.

    Thanks for the link Jack.

I'm surprised at the brightness of the screen - it's a 19" and yet still brighter than the Dell XPS M1710. Impressive indeed. I'll bet it's noisier than the XPS - it is virtually silent, even at full tilt.

The M590K definitely is a fast notebook, but personally, it's too big for me. :D 17" is as high as I'll go.

I think if you try to wait for new laptops instead of this generation, everything will change (Santarosa instead of centreno, merom instead ofyonah, vista instead of xp, new WiMax, more screen resolution, more HDD space, Blu-Rau and HD-DVD) 2007-2008 are better, save your money don't buy an expensive laptop.

Now I am waiting for XPS m1730 or XPS m1930 or the DellienwareXPS high end pcs.
in this days I will buy precision m65 for college only this for this year.
