I'm looking to swap my dvd with my hard drive and buying a SSD.
Was just wondering if something like this would work.

If not any suggestions?

It looks like it should work, though you may not be able to get the faceplate from the old ODD to attach to it. This means it may not match the machine styling on the exterior. Mounting and status light cutouts may be different, but it's hard to say from the pictures. Clevo replacements will negate all the above issues. -
Any that are guaranteed to fit correctly? I don't mind spending a bit more if I know it will work well.
Also a reputable site that offers these -

The caddies sold by most resellers with the clevo machines are guaranteed to work. If you don't already have the machine, you can always order the caddy with it at a discount if you replace the optical drive with it. Prices vary, we charge $45 for the caddy on its own. Other resellers may charge more/less. -

Any Clevo reseller can get you the official caddy. I got mine from Fortnax for $50 shipped.
It's more expensive than the generic ones from ebay but it comes with a white plastic mounting piece for you to mount your old optical drive's faceplate onto so it matches the exterior.
A generic drive will just leave a big hole and flat plate unless you superglue the faceplate on. -
I got a caddy off of ebay for $10. It fit perfectly after screwing off a plastic tab and the faceplate from the old ODD fit perfectly (the holes that snap the faceplate on seem to be standardized). Don't waste your money on the $50 caddies.

That's the thing, I also bought a $10 caddy and tried to put it into my NP 8130, but it didn't extend back far enough to line the securing screw. Plus, I didn't think it "clicked" or "locked" into place....So I went ahead and bought a caddy from my reseller. It's already shipped

You can always take the securing tab from the ODD and screw it onto the caddy. It's really not that much work for a $30-40 saving

I did do that. It still didn't slide all the way back in.

Unfortunate
For what it's worth
This is the caddy that I bought.
EDIT:
That's what I have and it works.
