I'm looking forward to reading more about the P170HM3 when it releases, but I can't find anything about a release date after scouring the internet :(

Assuming there aren't any NDA issues can you give us a ballpark release date?

Is this related to the current spate of sales on Sager/Clevo systems ?

Justin, Pman, its part of the NDA the date in which you can start to talking about the product?.

If it isnt', when finishes the NDA? A week? Two ones?, a month?

In addition please remember...that just because some model or componet is listed on a website some where in the world, this does not mean it is available or in any way ready to ship... :)

Eurocom will list things you can't buy yet.

It's like we have to go over this, every time something new is coming.

EC is waiting for Clevo to deliver the product, along with everyone else.

You will be able to order this laptop from almost all other Clevo resellers and that's what you and everyone else should do! That's what I'm going to do! Don't take this personally but Eurocom prey on people like you who see something new that other company's aren't offering and put the order in with them. It's how they run their company and it is how they promote every new product and component launch. Just look at the poor guy who was sent engineering sample 6970M GPUs. I'll guaranee you two things about the P170HM3:

1/ If you buy it from Eurocom now you won't get it before anyone else. They always say that they lead the industry and have everything available first but in actuallity they are never first.

2/ If you are in N America there are much better companies to get the laptop from.

    ^Totally agree with you JamesSlade...

I started this thread looking for solid feedback from trusted vendors that many of us have worked with and I will for one will wait for the NDA to lift and then chat with them about ordering.

Eurocom's MO hasn't changed for as long as I can recall...and that is a long time :)

Eurocom is like Sager. Their distribution business is their main focus. They are the only 2 Clevo shell distributors for North America. So their main customers are businesses and don't really care about the little guy that buys 1 laptop.

Buy from a trusted reseller or builder. Not from them directly.

    That's completely true! +rep
Even if they couldn't ship it before any other reseller, there is a slight info that can help the future buyers to hold their purchases until this exact unit comes out! seems like it's not gonna be that long...

Also Eurocom's models tend to be reviewed on websites such Anandtech or Tom's earlier than from other vendors. A perfect way to show the future technologies they've been working on.

I feel bad for that guy, who received an ES radeon 6970m, it's kind of unfair, BUT if i were him and had no problems running a laptop/OC it i wouldn't ask Eurocom for refund. It's still better to get a good working machine than a non ES unit that runs at 97C and causes you a pain in the !

Well one thing that is perhaps useful is that Eurocom has the price listed as a simple $200 option. That is really what I have wanted to know ... how much more would this cost
