Sorry if I posted this in the wrong thread new to the forum

but I wanted to know if it possible to replace the keyboard with a backlight on it.
sometimes its hard to see what im doing.
the Model number on the bottom of my computer is W170HR and branded Sager on top which I think is NP5175
    its about 18" or so.
if anyone has replaced the keyboard please let me know where I can get one. I can also install my own lights as well if there are tutorials. :D

I'm going to venture a guess as to no. That's a 17" machine akin to what the 6678 would be and they'll typically not have the power connector required to do a backlit keyboard. In my searching I didn't see that it came with one by default either which is another indication as to that.

This pretty much sums it up. I believe the connection for the power supply cable is omitted from the board on this model, making it impossible to power the LEDs on the keyboard.
