Can I add a back light to my keyboard on my Clevo P150/Sager N9130?

Hi all. I recently got an N9130 second hand, and I love it. My only is that I'd really like a backlit keyboard, which I had on my old system. Does anyone know if I can buy a second hand one, like steel series, and install it on a unit that didn't originally have a backlight? Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

i know for sure that its not possible to upgrade the previous gen 8130/50/70 with the current gen's backlit keyboard due to different sizes and the missing LED power connection on the mobo.
IIRC the 9130 also has a comparable chiclet style keyboard like the previous gen's, but on the other hand (i think) sports the same mobo as the other current gen laptops 9150/9130, so in theory it should have the LED connector.

i think its best if u ask a reseller who already offers the steelseries option, they should be able to answer ur question for sure :) potential ones are mythlogic and xotic for example...

    cheers

The P151EM motherboard is actually missing the LED connector, the SPOT is there, just doesn't physically have the connector soldered to it, and the topcase is a different size for the keyboard (its smaller on the P151) so it won't fit..
