    Hi everyone,

So I was just wondering, if it is possible to install different brand of RAMs with the RAMs that are already installed in my NP8130??

PS: How do I remove the keyboard so that I can access the RAM located beneath the keyboard? I saw somewhere in this forum (I think??) instructing how to take apart the keyboard?

    Thanks :)

Wait for confirmation, but I was under the impression you could change the ram VERY easily by removing a couple of screws.

At the minimum, I am sure you must at least use the same quality of Ram. Same GB and MHZ for instance.

The brand doesn't generally matter on that. You will want to match the speed on them, of course. If you want it running in proper dual channel you will also want them setup in pairs. You can refer to the manual to see the disassembly instructions.
