Hello, any pointers would be greatly appreciated!

I am getting a new 8255 on Thursday with a traditional primary hard drive. I am planning on swapping that to the 2nd hdd bay and making my existing ssd the primary. What would I have to do to make that work? My existing ssd has windows 7 on it from my old Vaio. Will I have to wipe it clean and then clone the hard drive that the sager came with? I hardly play around with this stuff so an idiot's guide to allowing me to do would be very helpful. Thanks!
Also, if possible I would like to keep the existing data on my ssd. Is that possible?

You can put the SSD in the second hard drive bay. I would suggest doing a clean install and installing your OS, drivers, etc instead of doing a clone. Its best for SSD to do that.
You wont be able to put the HDD into the second hard drive bay as its a smaller one which only will fit SSD. You'll just need to get into the BIOS and make the SSD your primary boot drive.

Make sure that old SSD is 7mm thick.

If it's not, and it is 9.5mm thick, you can place it into the main HDD bay.

Then you are left with a free secondary 7mm HDD bay under the DVD/Bluray Reader/Burner.

If you had them install Windows to the hard drive when you placed the order, then you should be getting a copy of Windows; in which case, it will be better if you do a fresh install of Windows from the disc, rather than cloning. Then, you can format the HDD and use it strictly for data, if you like - or set it up however else you prefer. :)

Yes, you should be able to get the key and I download a windows ISO if the CD is not shipped with it.
