Yesterday, I bought clevo 670mx 3gb card to upgrade my p150hm's gpu

and the seller noticed that the vbios of this gpu is for p570wm.

I searched some information about the compatibility of this gpu

and many said that only vbios for non-optiumus version will work.

i know that p570wm is non-optimus model but i am not certain it will work in p150hm.

would you please help me to find the appropriate 670mx vbios for p150hm??

or plz tell me whether this vbios will work or not.Thank you~

    Hi Alucardoo, :hi:
    Have a read of this.

You might want to try to contact Prema but there seems to be issues with that card and the HM clevos reading that thread.
    Good luck.

That issue comes from 675mx, doesnt it? Only i wish to see the screen... After that, i can mod inf file ... But i am wondering where the other guy who has 670mx for p150hm get the vbios? In techpowerup, there is no vbios for 670mx..

iirc all MX cards had issues with the HM series. only the regular M cards would function properly in most cases...

Yes the mx was released after the 680m so they had the later bios structures which had issues with the system bios. And yes prema to the rescue. Don't forget to leave some beer money in the jar for him ;)

Mx don't work on hm. Dedicated gpus or 670M, 675M, 680M or flashed HD 7970m

Prema, consequently , i failed to make dell 880m work on p150sm. But, dell gpu is recognzed in cmos bios, and i installed the nvidia driver successfully and it is also recognized in window system. But the driver is all crashed when i begin the play the game. At this moment, i wonder what is the difference between p150sm and p150sm-a ? Bcuz originally p150sm-a is released with the 8th gen gpu while p150sm has a choice between 7th gen gpu and 8970m. So i guess that p150sm is not compatible with 8th gen gpu, but p150sm-a is. Also, i saw that you upload both prema bios for p150sm and p150sm-a, and you notices us to be careful to distinguish them when we flash the bios.

SM series is compatible with 8 & 9 generation. But basically you need mod drivers.

Sounds like a broken GPU or badly modded driver. I have made SM BIOS which doesn't need driver mods with GTX8/9 cards, but its not public, yet.
