I've got a Sager NP8130 and a Sager NP8265-S. On the former, I used to be able to go into the realtek sound suite and set it up for 7.1 surround, and then get "quasi-7.1 surround" that, at least to me, sounded really nice relative to the standard 2.0 sound. Now, all I'm getting is the standard 2.0 sound (the subwoofer won't work). This has spread to the NP8265-S. I tested this by going into the realtek suite and clicking each little speaker. Only the 2 tall speakers next to the TV in the "testing image" worked. I've tried the latest drivers from realtek.com.tw, the ones that came with each respective Sager, and to no avail. What happened, and how can I get the rest of the sound options to work again.

The specs of each rig is in my signature.
