My bluetooth used to work okay. Occasionally I'd have to reinstall it, but it was fine.

I stopped using it for a few months as I didn't need it. And now I don't know what the hell is going on but it doesn't recognize it. I turn it on with the hotkey, the little light goes on, but nothing happens. If I went to My Bluetooth it would tell me there's no bluetooth radio on. I've tried everything I could think of. Since this was a few months since I'd last used it, there were no restore points that went far back enough.

At first I accidentally installed the wrong driver, so did a quick system restore then got the right ones.

I tried reinstalling them but nothing happened. I tried finding the device in the device manager but it didn't exist. Eventually I discovered that there was a USB device without a driver which if I deleted from the list would come back on when I turned on bluetooth with the hotkey. As if it was being read as a USB device but it can't find a driver for it and won't use the one I have.

And THEN.... when I tried redownloading the driver and installing it again it told me I had to restart my machine first, but when I did and the installation came back up, it asked again for a restart. I tried uninstalling it first manually but it wouldn't work so I used Revo uninstaller to force it. But still the same restart loop. I don't know how to get rid of it. I've tried holding the power button with everything unplugged. I've tried safe mode. I even had a Windows Update pending and let that install. Nothing. Still tells me:

The previously installed version of the product has been removed.

To complete the installation of bla bla bla you have to restart.

    Ideas?

The bluetooth is the Azureware NB057H.

Oh forget it. I fixed it. And sorry for posting in the wrong part. I didn't realize where I was.

As for the fix, I decided to be brave and mess with the registry and delete anything with Motorola or Azureware. Installed, restarted and then everything worked like a charm. Ah, I hate it when the second I post the solution come to me.

    Sorry for the bother.
