Hi everyone.
I have a problem. Hope someone can help me.
I am using Clevo P751 with 9900k. 1 month ago, I can overclock my 9900K easily to 5.0GHz in all cores. But after upload my bios to 1.07.27, I cannot increase Active Core of 9900K to 4.9 or 5.0GHz in all cores.
So do anyone knows why and help me solve this problem or give some information.
Thank you very much.

You want to set 8 Active cores to x50 for 5Ghz across all cores. Or just set it in the bios.

So when you set all cores to x50 multiplier in the bios, it still reverts to x48 in Windows? Sounds like XTU or something else is overriding.

Steps must always go up or stay the same. If 8 cores is 48x then 7 is 49x then 6 has be 49x or higher, it cant be 48x.

Check the BIOS itself, there can be core limits in there that XTU cant exceed.

About 1 month ago, with older bios version (1.07.24), I can easily move to 5.0GHz in all cores. See attached picture.
I don't know why. Maybe Intel release 9900KS and they locked frequency of 9900k by new bios update. I am not sure.Attached Files:

I doubt it. Try as Meaker suggested, and have all ratios set to x50 for all cores. If it still fails, XTU could be getting interfered by Clevo Control Center. You can try uninstalling them and forcing changes through the bios or use one of them.

I found a main problem. I setup ccc again and updated a new version of TPU. Now I can overlock to 5.0 in all core

Yeah those bios ratios list the max speed thr bios will allow. Now all that's left is to tune it properly
