    Dear Guys,

I am dealing with big problem installing stock driver on frieds brand new notebook. Its P150EM with AMD 7970M. When I install driver from DVD attached to notebook, after restart it says there is compatibility issue, STANDARD VGA and AMD GPU is disabled. SO basically my driver is not compatible with hardware inside notebook and I am not able to install any driver even from AMD website.

Can you please help me out? Thanks a ton!!!

you cant install anything from AMD website until you have installed the stock driver. you have to do it in a specific order, exactly as they come on the disc, restarting after each install. at this point you need to reformat and do a clean install. if your drivers are bogus get the ones from clevo's website

Fresh OS installaion and then chipset driver, restart, Intel driver, restart, AMD driver restart okay? Also do you want me to download from clevo download section here CLEVO - Download both driver AMD and INTEL for 64bit OS or just AMD one?

    Thanks!

No honza don't install the intell driver, just the display amd driver. Do a fresh install of windows, then insert cd and autorun it. In the menu select install drivers- install chipset, restart after restart select the second option- install vga driver. It will install the amd driver which includes also the intel componeents.. BTW are you czech?? :)

The question to the OP has been answered, but if I may, what are the next steps if I want to install, say, the 12.7 beta drivers? Fully unninstalling the stock driver won't remove the Enduro stuff?

It differs. Ussualy it works just to install the whole paccage over the stock drivers . I was just doing a fresh install two days ago an it worked fine. Or some poeple reported to install the stock drivers, start to install the 12.7 driver over the ones but select custom install and select display driver only.

That's very risky... In case it fails, what's the best way to remove every graphics driver so I can start from scratch without reformat?

Any tips on getting the AMD 7970m to actually be utilized? It seems to randomly work for me, but most of the time the Intel HD4000 kicks in. This is getting annoying, though I'm sure I'm just being a noob.

    Just to be clear:

    1. Clean install of OS.
    2. Install drivers from CD IN ORDER.
    3. RESTART after each install.

After this, the AMD 7970M will properly be the go-to GPU?

Also, after this you can install 12.7 etc. from the website on top of the stock CD drivers?

    Am I missing anything?

For every application that uses the graphics card, upon exiting it, you'll be asked which card do you want to use for it, or you can customize it in the catalyst ;)
