    Hey guys..

So after being unable to solve my random black screen crashes, I think it's about time I just replace my card and hope that is what is causing all the problems.

I have an 8800M GTX in there right now, but hear they have huge problems with vista anyways (worked fine for me for a year+), so I'm wondering what will fit into my laptop?

    Thanks.

I have Win7 now, but my 8800 always ran great with Vista. Anyways, go for a 9800M GT if you can find one. It would be much easier to find a 9800M GTS, but they are a bit weaker than the GT (64 shaders vs 96).

Will both the 9800M GT and the 9800M GTS fit into my casing where the 8800M GTX was?

That is my only concern really.
I don't do a lot of "hardcore" gaming anymore, just an RTS game here and there, and will play Diablo3 when it comes out. So I don't need the best-of-the-best, but still want a decent gaming laptop.

Yes, both of them will. The 9800M GT was basically the 8800M GTX rebranded.
