Where it is possible to find the certificate (XRM-MS) for Clevo H170HM, for activation Windows 7?

Clevo doesn't make those, thats up to the individual system builder, so you will have to contact them to get one that is correct for your laptop.

If you ordered an OS with your laptop, they should have sent you a copy of Windows DVD with the certificate on it.

When I recieved my Sager 8150, I got what looks like a recovery disc but have used it twice and it worked like it should or it at least installed a fresh OS (though I did not get a product key; should of I?). Did I recieve the in-correct item? It is not a retail version of Windows 7.

You most likely received a system builder copy of Windows with your machine, as it came from your builder. (Retail is only common if you actually buy it yourself from the store).

The product key should be on a sticker on the bottom of your laptop.

Clevo bios's are lacking the proper MD5 hash in the SLP 2.1 column of the bios. XRM-MS won't work unless MS worked with a vendor to allow it, and currently there are no legacy / royalty keys out there for this.

    Only OEM... sorry.
