Yes it's possible. Look in the manual on how to remove the back cover. It's like 4 or 5 screws. Then it's a few screws to remove the heatsink and CPU fan, Pull off the heatsink and CPU fan, unlock the CPU and pull it out, clean new CPU to remove any residue, put the new CPU in socket and tighten down, clean thermal paste off heatsink, apply thermal paste to CPU, put heatsink back on, and follow the 1-2-3-4 screw configuration to tighten it down. that's pretty much how it's done.

Like kagey said.
The service manual is in my sig if you need clarification. -
Theriko you need to add the w860cu manual, it isnt there
-
haven't been able to get ahold of one yet
-
Eurocom has it available for d/l.

Not the service manual they don't.
Unless you're seeing something I'm not... -
the files i download show that it is corrupted or damge....
-
Which files? From eurocom or my list? If mine, which one exactly?
-
Theriko, do you have a more recent service manual for the M860TU and M570TU ? The ones you have for download are one and a half years old... now that the products have been discontinued, it would be nice to have the latest manual.
-
Clevo often don't update the service manuals, besides, what has changed?
-
-
That is just a BIOS (and heatsink, I think?) update. It doesn't really have to change the way components are replaced or anything else... Honestly, now that I have the experience of putting all the components into a barebone m860tu from RJtech, I really wouldn't need a service manual for the w860cu. It is basically the same.

any other link to download? i cant download it..... even i download it just 30kb only, seems like it is just a HTML
kinda noob in computer so dont know, hahaha -
The rapidshare links seem to be working ok here, it should be a zip file with a pdf inside it.
There is no updated service manual since the quad support as basically nothing important has changed. -
Hi there,
I'm planning to upgrade the processor in 8662 too. Which thermal paste should I use?
Thank you -
MX-3 or MX-2 or AS5 or if you don't want to spend anything extra use what they provide depending on where you purchase it from.
Changing proccessor...
