I submitted a ticket to support, but because this is a bit urgent, and since I don't believe Malibal support is available over the weekend, I just wanted your guy's input.

So around a week ago, my charger for my Malibal computer broke. I do not know how or why, it just suddenly stopped working. So I grabbed an old charger in my basement from a different laptop, and surprisingly it worked with the Malibal. Obviously I could not do anything intensive, so I limited my usage to simple browsing and such. However today, I'm watching a video, when suddenly my computer turns off. I boot things back up, and I see that nothing is charging now!

However if I wiggle the charger around a bit, then it charges properly. But here's the bad part: after like 5 minutes of charging, the tip of the charger gets incredibly hot. So I stopped charging the laptop immediately and turned it off out of fear. After replicating this a few times, I have found that it gets hot every time.

Now, the question is, is both my original charger as well as my laptop a bit fried?

The original charger never works no matter what. The temporary one works if I wiggle it into the right position.

UPDATE: After checking with a friend who has an identical charger as the original Malibal one, I can confirm that it does not work either, and depicts the same symptoms as my temporary charger from my basement. Therefore, there must be an issue with my charging port on my laptop. I'm guessing part of it got fried or something? Does anyone know of any solutions?

    You guys have any ideas?

Yes thank you, I'm talking to support at the moment. Hopefully everything will be cleared up. If any NBR members have any input, please feel free to do so.
