    Anyone know where I can get a cheap AC Adapter for the M860TU? The manual specifies an output of 20V-6A (120W). Would I be safe in getting any adapter that matches those specifications?

    Well, I'd be fine with a place to buy the original adapter to start.

    You can purchase the spare AC Adapter from Sager's website here if it's a Sager notebook or else you can contact the company from whom you purchased the notebook to purchase the AC Adapter.

    Thanks Justin, that's a good starting point but I would still like to hear more opinions on getting a different 120W adapter.

    I know that safety is often the best option, but it's hard to justify that $75 price tag. I know that there are logical reasons for the pricing, but it's funny to think that after 10 years, the prices of batteries and AC Adapters hasn't gone down even by a dollar.

    Can anyone with an NP8660 / M860TU check their AC-Adapter and post the original manufacturer along with any part numbers?

    Mine isn't arriving for another week and it just might be cheaper to search for the original part rather than the Clevo/Sager part.

    @RoniXt

    As a follow up, did you ever actually buy this AC adapter? and from whom? I would think that getting the correct tip could be an issue.
