Hi, I'm trying to look for the best price on a M860TU (either by that name or rebranded) with the following specs:

    Standard 1680X1050 Screen
    T9400 2.53 GHz (35W)
    GeForce 9800GTS
Arctic Silver 5 Thermal Compound (or better if its worth it)
    4GB Dual Channel RAM
200GB, 7200RPM SATA II HD (or something around that)
    DVD+-R/RW
    Intel Wi-Fi Link 5300AGN
    Bluetooth

Am I missing anything? where's the best place to buy from? (And where I'll get the lowest price)

    Thanks! :D

All of that for $2129 exactly.

I say thats the best deal.

    Consider upgrading to:

    1. 1920x1200
    2. Sound Card
    3. Intel Turbo Memory

You could add all of that for around an extra $300, so it would be around $2450, or you could upgrade to a 2.80Ghz CPU and that would be $180. But, thats about it. Consider any of the upgrades or leave it where it is.

Note: This is the XOTICPC SagerNP8660

Lynnbay's price will be lower than Xotic, once Xotic's shipping charges are added to the prices. Lynnbay also gives a free year of accidental damage.

I am a bit confused About your posts that you are making Genkido where are you Really? Your other posts says Argentina this post says USA Man you teleport fast! Anyway only reason i ask this cause you have made several post generally asking the same thing. In essence i suggest you check here Since Gophn took the time to make this awesome Clevo Guide v2.0 - F.A.Q. and Reseller Info I suggest you look there FIRST and get most of your Questions about buying and a good portion of your other questions answered.

Get the T8600 or T9500 since they have lower voltage.
Ditch the 7200rpm for some cooler cheaper 5400rpm.
    Shipping is like ~$30

Maybe this will help you understand the posts, topics, users and why you see posts that are relatively the same over and over. LynnBay advertises on their front page, "We will beat any price on Asus and Pro-Star notebooks" and they can and do. Pro-Star notebooks are, for all intents and purposes, Sager notebooks. You can argue it until you are blue in the face, but that's the fact.

LynnBay been around for a while, but this could be the first time many people in the forum have heard of them. The reason you haven't heard of them is because they haven't been actively competing. Actively competing against their own resellers that is.

You are starting to see the name getting injected into forums more and more recently. It is no accident that it comes at a time that a certain company's white book is being released too. More than likely these are distributors taking one step closer to eliminating their resellers that have sold them out by offering competing high-end notebooks that were designed & marketed to compete with their Clevo systems.

Don't be afraid of the low prices or buying from LynnBay, rest assured it's all the same. Not figuratively... literally. They can offer it cheaper because they are cutting out the middle-man not because the build quality, service, warranty or anything else is lower quality... It's all the same.

    " When the wrong word
    goes in the right ear...
et cetera, et cetera. et cetera.
    "

I actually live in Argentina but I have someone who can get me a laptop from there. I'll be using it here, so that's why it's important that I can get support in Argentina :D

I took a look at LynnBay, but they seem more expensive than XoticPC :S

All you have to do is call or email LynnBay or Pro-Star and they will beat the price. It's really that simple.

Not knowing what I am talking about is exactly what I am talking about. The structure of these companies is designed to confuse you, which it has done.

Pro-Star and Sager are distribution companies closely owned by the same family. The actions of one is decided by both. LynnBay is not a reseller or middleman... they are controlled and run by Pro-Star directly. Anyone who can't read between the lines... it means that Sager has signed off on cutting their reseller's throats because their resellers have sold Sager/Pro-Star/Clevo out by offering competing high end products.

Powernotebooks, which is the largest Sager reseller, will probably end up being the last man standing of all the middle men in a few years simply due to volume, reputation and not making stupid mistakes like the one outlined above. If the economy keeps going like it is, I can almost guaranty it.

ny If you want to talk about resellers and non resellers i suggest you go make a FAQ about it. List all the Sager/Clevo NON resellers out there like how you claim Gophn as only listing just Resellers and being confused of the general census. I simply listed his faq and you simply had to open a can of worms.
