The output cable on the ps to my Clevo P370EM is too short. I am looking for an extension cable or the 4 pin connectors to make one. Any ideas?
Thanks

There is no official or aftermarket adapter with a longer cable, nor is there a proprietary extension chord.

You can try a typical extension cable from the outlet to the three prong end of the brick. -
I am not looking for a longer ac cord but the line that goes from the brick to the laptop. That is too short for my application and I would like to buy or make an extension cable that would plug into the back of the laptop, and the ps brick would plug into it.
Thanks for the link to the other thread as I had forgot about that post. Getting old I guess. I was in hopes that someone could source the plug ends to make my own.
BTW I love my Prostar (P373EM-3D) thanks for the service and great price! -
The cable must be short (or thick) due to the voltage drop under load.

Yes because the voltage is lower losses accumulate quite quickly with the high current flowing down the cable, have you thought of maybe attaching the brick with the likes of velcro to the under side of a surface?

I was thinking of 8' of 14 gauge, especially since I have a single gpu. The velcro idea does have some merit, I will have to check next time I am in the office with the laptop to see if it will fit the bill.
Thanks
I have some ends that seem to be correct but the genders are opposite.
Kyson KPPX-4P ?
If my calculations are correct using 20V DC, 20 amps and 14 gauge the voltage drop should be less than 5%. This should be within acceptable limits. -

No more than that for the entire cable if its going to be pushed IMO and yes double check the polarity!
However if it's just a dumb extension cable then it should just be the same as what it is connected to.
Chicony AC adapter output extension?
