I am looking into buying a Sager, but I have a few questions about the various models and configurations out there.
I was looking into the 6165, but according to the forums here, Turbo boost on the i7 is disabled. This could be pretty annoying. (See here)
I like the 9130/ 9150, with the speakers and everything else. When I configured the two to have identical specs, the 50 was about $150 more. Is the backlit keyboard and (correct me if I am wrong) user upgrade-able GPU worth it?
I plan on getting an empty drive bay instead of putting a Optical drive in. I would then put my Crucial M4 SSD in the current drive bay (Sata 3) and move the HD to the drive bay. Will this work or am I missing something?
Last question (for now) - For computer engineering, will I see a big difference between the 3610QM and 3720QM? For gaming it probably doesn't matter, but for other things I am curious.
Other parts -
Color Gamut Matte screen
8 gb 1600mhz Ram
570m Should be enough unless the 575 is amazing.
7200rpm drive of any size.

The components in the NP9130 are user upgradable, but a 180 watt power supply must be used if the graphics card is switched with a gpu that has a TDP over 75 watts. The NP9130 however comes with an 120 watt power brick.

Make sure you get an hdd caddy for the optical bay, just in case you missed that.
The difference between the cpus isn't massive, but it depends what exactly you want to do. -
Nevermind was thinking of different notebook.

Are the 120 and 180W bricks different in size and weight? The 120 one would make a great travel adapter as long as you don't game on the go or limit power consumption.

The 120 is massive, weighs a ton, and would stuck as a travel adaptor.
