Hi! I've posted already in the general "What Laptop Should I Buy?" forum, but I'm mostly settled on getting a Sager, and I've more or less narrowed it down to 2 laptops via LPC-Digital's configurator.

The laptops I put together are fairly close in price, but they vary fairly widely on exact specs:

    Sager NP9130 (Clevo P151EM)

    NVIDIA® GeForce™ GTX 670M 1.5GB GDDR5

    NEW! 3rd Generation Intel® Core™ i7-3630QM Processor (6M Cache, up to 3.40 GHz)
    w/
    Stock OEM Thermal Compound

    16GB Dual Channel DDR3 at 1600MHz - 4 X 4GB

    500GB Seagate Momentus XT 7200RPM 500GB (w/ 4GB SSD Memory)

    8X DVD±R/RW/4X +DL Super-Multi Drive & Software

    Killer™ Wireless-N 1202 with Bluetooth 4.0 (Dual Band)

    8 cells smart Lithium-Ion battery pack 76.96Wh

LIFETIME Limited Labor and 1 Year Premium** Parts Warranty

    Cost: $1,214.00

I've heard good things about the P151EM keyboard and slightly better things about it's overall build quality. It comes with 8GB of additional RAM, and ~10% more raw GPU horsepower.

Conversely, the W350ETQ is lighter, has more VRAM (extra 1/2 GB) and a cooler running, less power consumptive graphics card, and was the machine I intended to get before seeing the Columbus day deal (it's normally a couple hundred less than the P151EM at the specs above).

Are there pros or cons I'm missing? Does anyone have personal experience with both laptops that they can share?

I plan to use the laptop for a fair amount of Photoshop work and 3D modelling as well as the normal gaming uses, and I'm also curious if the extra VRAM is worth more for those tasks (or for 1080p texture modded skyrim) than the extra processing power.

Thanks for any advice you can give.

I personally would go with the 9130 over the 6350. You're right about everything you say, but unless you're into OC'ing you're going to want to take advantage of the extra power the 9130 has. The Vram won't make much of a difference between the two.
