Hello guys!
Planning to get a Clevo with i7, GTX980M,G-Sync, 16 gb ram. Thunderbolt 3 will be nice too but not a priority over the other specs. Over 2000 euros budget. Living is Spain, Europe.
I did not get the chance on Black Friday so I was wondering if there is Christmas sales. Mysn is overpriced. So far I have an eye on clevocenter, Scan and cyberpowersystem. Any info on Christmas sales is appreciated.

I don't think some of those sellers are on the forum here, at least that much that I'm aware of. So they might not respond. A lot of places are still running specials. I'd check out the link for the European Clevo retailers, and maybe check some out to see who has the best deals.

I made the mistake of waiting 2 weeks to buy a clevo on black friday, only to find that there were really no significant black friday deals. I would say, don't bother waiting, just buy now. There might be deals for individual components, like at newegg, but you should just order the laptop now because you might not get it until christmas anyway.

@YeXZ - as @Asting mentioned our EU site currently has a sale on the models mentioned up to 10% so I hope you can find something of interest there! This was voted by customers which is why the discount is on the three particular models.
Compared to SCAN and Cyberpower, check that they are offering the same systems that we do. At first glance they may look the same, but for example:
- several UK based Clevo resellers offer the cheaper brushed aluminium finish version of the P506 whereas XMG offers the sandblast aluminium finish
- some don't actually have G-Sync systems so double check that this technology is included if you want it. Without G-Sync the systems can be £100 cheaper
- our standard warranty is a full 24 month parts, labour and shipping which includes free warranty shipping to the whole of Europe. I know that SCAN don't cover warranty outside of the UK and I believe that the Cyberpower warranty is a 1 Year rather than 2 Year.
As you asked about Clevocenter, I don't know anything about them so I can't comment on their service or support. The only thing I found is that they are on the below list of unauthorised companies using the Clevo name http://www.clevo.com.tw/clevo_newsdetail.asp?id=194&lang=en . -

Thank your for answers. If the overprice is due to build quality I might re-consider. Roughly same specs XMG is +250 more expensive. I have a better perspective now.

The chassis material difference is on the XMG P series / Clevo P65* P67* - the difference with the XMG U series or the Clevo P75* P77* is the trim on the exhausts
@YeXZ I'm pretty surprised that the difference is that much. I work in the UK office so I am familiar with pricing of other companies which sell Clevo chassis here and compared to mysn.co.uk there certainly shouldn't be that much of a difference at all. If you want to send me a pm with some comparison specs and pricing feel free - I can offer some advice (can't do it in public on the forum though). -
Hmm maybe pricing from mysn.co.uk is different from mysn.de?
EDIT: model U706 with same specs is 50 euros cheaper in uk site.
Christmas sales info?
