Clevo 110er/Sager NP6110 IPS Screen Upgrade

Hello,

I read a few war stories from the main thread on this from the last few years. Have there been any advances on this front meaning, are there any plug and play IPS screens that now exist that would work with the Clevo110er/Sager NP6110?

I just picked one of these up and would like to put s better screen in there. I owned one years back and remember the screen being awful.

LP116WH4 SLN1, but you need an LVDS extension cable.

 

Thank you. Is the extension cable also plug and play or is trimming or soldering involved in anyway? Also, does everything fit back together into the frame? Just ask as I saw a few posts that references double sided tape to compensate I believe.

Oh and since I got you, which is the most current and best of your BIOS to use and are any compatible with Windows 10 64? Interested in the UV with lower temps.

You need to cut the screen-mounts with a scissor and fix it with some tape:

Cable is Plug'n'Play...

Just grab the UV premamod version form the blog, works ok with W10.
