Its crap because it is not as powerful as 1080 version? I heard it is called 1075 gtx.
But it is thin. Clevo has laptops with gtx1070 max-q.

The 1070 is a different chip to the 1o6o so it does have more to bring to the table. The 1080 has more units and GDDR5x which is less of an advantage.

    Price is also a concern.

    17,3 cons:
    - bigger (duh)
    - heavier
    - lower battery life
    - more protabl
    - more expensive
    17,3 pros:
    - sometimes it has better cooling (sometimes - p650 has more vents udnerneath than p670)
    - bigger screen (duuuh)
    - less portable

If you don't plan to carry your laptop too much, I'd go for 17,3.

Max-Q - underclocked graphic for higher price, but thinner and thus more portable laptop.

Our thinner 17 inch machines also have thunderbolt where as the 15 inch do not. Also in that series the 17 inch has a full powered 1070 rather than a max-q chip.
