Hello everyone, I have This clevo case/Lap top, when I bought it it came with Xp but it was Vista Ready, when I installed Vista the damn thing won't turn off when I shut Down or Restart the system unless I keep the Power Button Pressed for 5 sec.
I have repeatedly mailed the manufacturers but I never got even an automated response...

    Can Anyone help me?

Ps. I also have to report that the cooling system of this "case" is awful and so noisy my god I get a Headache it's time i use this Lap Top I was wondering is there anyway i can replace it with a better one or a silent one?

Clevo will NEVER respond to consumers.

You have to contact your vendor/seller for support.

Did you install all of the proper drivers for Vista?

Clean out your fans, read here:

Yes all the new vista drivers are installed as the manufactor's site shows
I have downloaded from their site the updated drivers ( www.clevo.tw)
    And still nothing...

*Ihave already cleaned the fan, the notebook is 5 months old. The noise problem is there since the begining
The Supplier Said that this is it's normal function cause this is a 12inch notebook and it can easily overheat.

Did you do an upgrade or a clean install? It sounds like you might have done an upgrade. You may want to try to repair Vista.

I didn't upgrade, the Vista cd that I have is not for Upgrade it's a full version cd, When i inserted to install Vista the previous istallation was deleted, the only thing that it kept by itself was the old file of windows in a special folder, does tha count as un upgrade? I don't know... But Every Pc that had XP, and turned into Vista, Vista by itself keeps the old files...
    :(
I'll try that repair thing but i do not think tha will change anything
