Hello, i have bios revision 1.0.0.2 is there a newer one ?

And tonight i will try to install windows vista 64 bit. I have ordered cd from MS. Is there any special things that i need to do before starting to instal ? And i have tried to insert that cd it shows errors. I think because it is 64 bit architecture... But it is bootable ?

Thats all for now :) oh and what is the best drivers for 8700m ? because i am playing now medal of honor airborn with default clevo drivers and i get 28-30 fps on 1280*1024...

Now thats all thank you in advance for help

If you have data files you want to keep, back them up then boot off disc 1 and do a 'clean' install. Change the boot order to CD first in the bios.

you can get some very recent 8700m drivers from laptopvideo2go.com, but you do need to make a few changes to get them working (very easy - literally copy one file) and I needed to install via update driver rather than setup.exe for some reason

You can go to www.laptopvideo2go.com to download the latest video driver. Here is the link for the drivers from the Clevo download page.

    http://www.clevo.com.tw/en/e-services/download.asp

Finding a BIOS update may prove more challenging for you since most vendors will not release the BIOS updates to the public. You may need to contact your reseller to get the latest BIOS update.

version 1.0.0.2 came on mine and caused a 'boot up on battery' problem. My reseller provided me with 1.00.03 which resolved this.
