 Occasionally found that the option 7970M CF of P370EM has disappeared on XOTICPC.
Does it means that Clevo 7970M has been really sold out totally

Indeed, they are no longer available through Sager.

Clevo discontinued production of them, so whatever companies have leftover stock, that's about it.

If you're after that card specifically snap it up when you can find it. Once their stock is gone they probably wont be getting anymore either.

Be mindful too that some sellers websites have not been updated. Again I would call them or email them first... :)

So I have to wonder. I just got an NP9370 with the 7970m under a month ago from XoticPC. If the video card fails within the warranty period, how does Sager handle replacements? This is unfortunate news as I was planning on getting another one in the next year or so for SLI...

Sager will typically hold on to extras reserved specifically for warranty purposes. If they just happen to run out of those, you may get an upgrade.

Which is probably why you see the AMD cards shut down earlier as they hold lower stocks.

Maybe you would have a 8970M for warranty:thumbsup:

You might be able to flash the 8970M bios on a 7970M anyway..... No guarantees but it is the same chip and memory...

AMD wouldn't update the 7970M VBIOS for us?

It has never happened before and they likely validate the chips slightly differently anyway.

We just got notified that there are a few 7970's that have become available over at Sager, heads up for anybody that was disappointed with them disappearing. One last chance it seems.
