sorry for the multiple posts with regards to my laptop :(
    Ok, here's the problem now.

When i switch on my laptop, the screen just stays black.
I THINK its the graphic card which isnt properly connected to the
laptop. It sure looks fine yesterday but today its just like that :(

Probably it got loose or something.
So now I wanna tighten it but.....
I dont know where to start :(.

    Is it below the keyboard?
    Or beneath the computer?
    Which cable should i tighten?

    *update*
currently its showing pixels after pixels after i tried it again
when i switched it on. It seems to boot to windows fine though~

Can hardly see anything but im pretty sure
the thing moving was the window XP 'loading bar'

If you're technically inclined, you might check to see if the LCD is properly connected to the motherboard - I believe some of the Clevo systems have had problems with the cable from the mobo to the LCD coming loose. Of course, if you feel even slightly uncomfortable with cracking open the LCD casing, you would be better off sending it in for service.

It seems to be the LCD itself, or more likely the cable being loose.

Black SOD could be indicative of a dead card.

it stillwould boot windows but no screen.

light would come on like the backlight but black screen.

I had this happen to me before.

With a dead video card would not boot. At least not the Desktop PC.
