Currently working on Hypersonic notebook with 2x 7950 512MB video cards and recently while the owner was booting error code Stop 0x00000050 which is a wide range of hardware that is covered. Also during boot there is video artifacts red and then green lines. I have troubleshooted the problem and came to the conclusion that it could be one of the video cards.
Now I know pulling one card out I get beep error for video.
I also know one card is parent and other card is daughter.

Is there a way to disable the SLI mode in bios? I know the BIOS are not current anyone have a link to current bios for the D901C?

    Thanks

Welcome to the NBR forums. :)

if you remove the second card and the SLI cable, that should disable the SLI

the SLI bridge cable is included with a system when you order it with two cards.

it is the cable that connects one card to the other.

its connected in this location for each card:

if you do not have the cable, then you cannot enable SLI
