This is arguably the n00b-est question i've ever asked, in a very long time...
...Today i sit down to my lappy and try to update payday2 on steam...what? no disk space? what?! 0 mb? ...
This has been going on for some time now...roughly 2 months, however there's always been a lingering questions as to what exactly it is...
For example, today I know it's not steam, as I've had over 7gb free, and my computer was left on all night, w/o a memory crash/memory dump. I've never seriously sat down and tried to tackle this, i run anti-virus/anti-spy/spamware...roughly every other month. In the past i've always felt it was the Clevo's memory dumps (crashes from intel's XTU, or XTU/afterburner in conjunction) taking all the space, but even then i was never 100% as the size was too much, 7gb for a memory dump?

Anyways, I apologize about the crude write up, as i tend to get all my ducks in a row before i post asking for help, but i am now asking for help...this is some serious nonsense.
Btw, my primary disk is a Samsung 500gb 840 series ssd...could it be the ssd going out on me? i've only had it for roughly 6 months...are there any "safe" techniques i could run on this? ie, trash collection by idleing in the Clevo's bios? a firmware update? This too sounds n00bish, however in the past i tend to just launch folder size, and comb through my most used directories, and once over the dir sizes...everything tends to add up, so i'm not thinking it's the ssd misappropriating size.
